You need to register with a credit card to view the girl's profile or chat with them. There might be some free chat on here but I didn't find it! When you are browsing a particular category, this is how the screen looks:
You can see the girl's name, her photo (they aren't all head shots – when you're registered you can see much more, believe me!) and a few choice words about herself, ranging from ´very sexy girl wait you ooohhh mmmm oohhh' to 'bargain $0.60 a minute' (hey that is muy barato – or very cheap) but I am looking right now in the A Little Shy section and if A Little Shy means the girl has to be talked to for 20 minutes before removing any clothing then $0.60 might not be such a bargain basement price after all!

Text chat is free and can be a nice way of getting to know a girl for free whilst looking through her photo portfolio, before deciding whether to chat or not. Saying that, a lot of the girls seem to ignore guest free chat, assuming it is someone who has no intention of becoming a member. If you want to see the goodies on camcontact it seems that you have to register and pay for it.
The Forums and chat rooms
The forum is a good idea. Members can post feedback there about the girls and their experiences with them, good or bad, sexy or not, value for money or not recommended. There is a chat room too where you can chat live (no video) with a selection of members and girls. There is a technical chatroom where you can go if you have any video problems. The chatrooms are something different and a good idea.
Other features
Some of the girls you can either hear on speakers or you can phone them live. There is a little speaker icon next to her name if you can hear her or a phone icon if you can phone her home line. This applies to maybe 1 in 5 girls and is a nice extra if you like that kind of thing.
